Pi PLUS, as the name suggests, will be an e-commerce store app that features items from different merchants that accept Pi + Cash as payment. Since every single item to be featured for sale through this app will either partially or wholly require Pi for payment, it should help jumpstart the real-world monetary valur of Pi.
RATIONALE:
- Merchants from all over the world will be incentivized to offer their items for sale through this app as it would provide them direct access to Pi’s huge global community, giving them precious FREE ADVERTISING for their business, without having to hesitate due to the early vague monetary value of Pi (by still being able to charge cash for a portion of the payment–enough to cover their product cost with some profit), while also gaining Pi.
- For early Pi adapters (Pioneers and investors), this app will provide them with a valuable reason to want Pi–since every single item in the store cannot be purchased without Pi (combined with cash).
- For the entire Pi community, this concept will help boost the real-world monetary value, and consequently, global demand for Pi.
OTHER PI-VALUABLE PROPOSED FEATURES:
A. Pi-Burner: Every transaction made through this app will “burn” (remove from circulation) a portion of the Pi used for payment through a “burn fee” –which will help maintain the future scarcity of Pi and consequently also drive up its real-world monetary value.
B. Merchants who accept more Pi percentage-wise to the total payment shall be provided with additional FREE ADVERTISING incentives (e.g. Push notifications, banner ads, inclusion in SPECIAL FEATURED PRODUCTS, etc.)
